Grungy Gentleman was fortunate enough to partner with Mitchell & Ness on a headwear collaboration for our New York Fashion Week S/S 17 runway show at W Hotel. I have worn Mitchell & Ness since I was a child wearing Knicks jerseys to elementary school so this was a natural fit for our brand! Mitchell & Ness is the best hat manufacturer in the sportswear industry. Extremely stoked with how the collaboration shined on gameday.

Jace Lipstein, designer and founder of Grungy Gentleman, debuted his Spring/Summer 2017 collection during his “Next Man Up” runway show at the W New York on Thursday, July 14th. The collection was showcased through 70 looks and 40 models and included five styles of Grungy Gentleman x Timberland footwear and 20 Grungy Gentleman x Mitchell & Ness hats. The interactive show included a Microsoft XBOX lounge where guests, including New York Giants’ Justin Pugh and rapper Sammy Adams, played Madden and other games before the runway show commenced. DJ Drewski of Hot 97 spun a playlist of mixed genres while guests sipped on Ciroc cocktails and Warsteiner beer before the show kicked off. Meanwhile, backstage, the models prepared for the catwalk with Nivea Men Creme while their hair and makeup was done by New York Institute of Beauty.
Sons of Anarchy star Theo Rossi opened and closed the show in what was Grungy Gentleman’s 5th menswear runway show, and models donned sunglasses by Maui Jim during their walks. Notable guests including actor Skylar Astin and New York Red Bulls soccer stars Ronald Zubar and Damien Perrinelle sat front row to experience the collection while Microsoft live-streamed the runway to the flagship Microsoft store (677 Fifth Avenue) and on Hommenificent.com for additional viewing. Nivea Men provided gift bags for front row guests After the show, designer Jace Lipstein hosted a meet-and-greet at the Microsoft store accompanied by a handful of his models before everyone headed to Avenue nightclub for the after-party to celebrate Grungy Gentleman and the Spring/Summer 2017 collection.
