​With Simon Spurr co-steering the ship, Tommy Hilfiger's men collection for spring-summer 2013 was a decided integration of patriotic and preppy. Building off collegiate looks with emblem-adorned blazers to chunkier knit sweaters, the use of stripes and colors of red, white, and blue played as a common thread throughout the collection. As expected, the crowd at Tommy was full of notable characters including Miami Heat star Chris Bosh and Olivier Zahm, founder an editor-in-chief of cult-favorite Purple Magazine. Along with the crowd and runway show, we took a unique look backstage to see how the collection was paired an accessorized.
